A U.S. military refueling tanker crashed, killing four people
According to The Washington Post, on March 13 local time, U.S. Central Command confirmed on social media that a U.S. KC-135 refueling tanker crashed in western Iraq. Four of the six crew members on board have been confirmed dead, and rescue operations are ongoing.
The report stated that U.S. Central Command claimed the KC-135 tanker apparently collided with another aircraft.
U.S. Central Command stated that the other aircraft landed safely, and the crash was “not caused by enemy or friendly fire.”
