Azerbaijan Parliament approves visa exemption agreement with China
《International Business News》 – The National Assembly (Parliament) of Azerbaijan approved the visa exemption agreement signed between the country and China on the 30th.
According to Azerbaijan News Agency, lawmakers voted to pass the agreement on visa exemption for citizens holding ordinary passports at the plenary session of the parliament that day. The agreement allows citizens of both countries to stay visa-free for up to 30 days per visit, and the cumulative stay shall not exceed 90 days within 180 days. According to the agreement, visa exemption only applies to short-term visits.
In April this year, during the visit of Azerbaijani President Aliyev to China, the two governments formally signed an agreement on visa exemption for citizens holding ordinary passports.
