An international passenger train from China to Pyongyang arrived in North Korea
On March 12, reporters witnessed an international passenger train from Dandong, China, arriving at Pyongyang Station.
Chinese Ambassador to North Korea Wang Yajun and other diplomats from the Chinese Embassy in North Korea greeted the passengers boarding the train.
According to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., starting March 12, 2026, international passenger trains will operate in both directions between Beijing and Dandong, China, and Pyongyang, North Korea, further promoting personnel exchanges, economic and trade cooperation, and cultural exchanges between the two countries. The international passenger trains between Beijing and Pyongyang will run in both directions every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, while the international passenger trains between Dandong and Pyongyang will run in both directions daily.
