The China-Uzbekistan Mutual Visa Exemption Agreement will take effect soon

The Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Mutual Visa Exemption will come into effect on June 1, 2025.

According to the agreement, persons holding valid Chinese official, official ordinary and ordinary passports and Uzbek ordinary passports are exempt from visas when entering, exiting or transiting the other contracting party for a single stay of no more than 30 days and a cumulative stay of no more than 90 days in every 180 days. If you need to stay in the territory of the other contracting party for more than 30 days at a time or settle in the territory of the other contracting party to engage in work, study, news reporting and other activities that require prior approval from the competent authorities of the other contracting party, you should apply for the corresponding visa before entering the other contracting party.
