Yiwu toy merchants: We have received notifications of US orders, and the tariffs will be borne by the US side

On April 30, the reporter learned from Yiwu toy exporters that they had received notifications from US retail giants Walmart and Target to resume supply. At present, some toys have been exported to Walmart and Target, and the new tariff costs will be borne by US customers.

Earlier, the exporter told reporters that Walmart notified the suspension of shipments due to the surge in the US “reciprocal tariff” to 145%, but its factory did not stop toy production. The exporter said that it is expected to resume full supply soon.

As of press time, Walmart has not yet responded.
