Brazil’s former president accused of planning a coup

The Brazilian Attorney General’s Office accused former President Jair Bolsonaro and his 33 allies of planning a coup on the 18th, attempting to overturn the results of the 2022 presidential election.

In an indictment submitted to the Federal Supreme Court, Brazilian Attorney General Paul Gonet said that Bolsonaro also knew and agreed to an assassination plan against current President Lula.
