iPhone13 can still squeeze into the top ten best-selling mobile phones in the world
Market analysis agency Omdia announced the list of the world’s top ten best-selling mobile phones in the first half of 2024. Apple occupies half of the list with the strong performance of five models, and Samsung follows closely with four hot-selling products.
Specifically, iPhone 15 Pro Max sold 21.8 million units in the first half of the year, leading the list. iPhone 15 followed closely with sales of 17.8 million units, proving its popularity as a non-Pro series model.
Samsung A15, as Samsung’s mid-range smartphone, sold 17.3 million units, ranking third. iPhone 15 Pro sold 16.9 million units, which was slightly lower than its predecessor, but still maintained a high market recognition. Samsung S24 Ultra, as Samsung’s flagship model, sold 12.6 million units.
Although iPhone 13 is an old model, its sales are still stable, reaching 12.5 million units. Samsung A15 5G sold 12.2 million units. As a 5G-enabled version, it has also been widely welcomed by the market. Redmi 13C, a low-end smartphone under Xiaomi, sold 11.8 million units, becoming the only domestic mobile phone model on the list.
iPhone 14 sold 11.2 million units. Although its ranking has dropped compared to its predecessor, it still maintains a stable sales volume. Samsung sold 10 million units. As another economical smartphone of Samsung, it also achieved impressive results.
