Zaobao:Interpol issues a red warrant for former Philippine President Duterte
Singapore’s Lianhe Zaobao reported on March 10 that Interpol had recently issued a red warrant for former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, and the police and other departments in the Philippines have entered a state of high alert.
The report quoted the Philippine Manila Times as saying that the Philippine government will deploy at least 7,000 police officers to carry out arrest operations.
Ruiz, Minister of the Philippine Presidential Communications Office, said on the 9th local time: “We heard that the International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for former President Rodrigo Duterte, accusing him of crimes against humanity, and the government is ready to respond to any emergencies.”
