Thailand announces successful application of “Tom Yum Goong” for World Heritage

Thai Prime Minister’s Office spokesman Jirayut said on December 4 local time that at the 19th ordinary session of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage held in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay, it was announced that Thailand’s “Tom Yum Goong” was included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List of Humanity.
