CATL’s net profit exceeds 50 billion yuan in 2024

As a global leading power battery and energy storage battery company, CATL achieved operating income of 362.013 billion yuan in 2024, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 50.745 billion yuan.

In 2024, the company’s total lithium battery production capacity will reach 676 GWh/year, with a lithium-ion battery output of 516 GWh and sales of 475 GWh. Among them, the sales volume of power battery systems was 381 GWh, an increase of 18.85% year-on-year; the sales volume of energy storage battery systems was 93 GWh, an increase of 34.32% year-on-year. In 2024, the company’s lithium battery business revenue was 310.3 billion yuan, accounting for 85.7% of the total operating revenue.

At present, the under-construction capacity of lithium batteries is 219 GWh/year. After the project is put into production, the company’s total lithium battery capacity will be close to 900 GWh/year.
