The 3961mAh battery of iPhone 16e is not as good as that of iPhone 16

On February 27, 2025, the evaluation of iPhone 16e was lifted, and the overseas evaluation agency “Dave2D” confirmed that the iPhone 16e is equipped with a 3961mAh battery, which is 400mAh more than the 3561mAh battery of iPhone 16.

After actual testing, “Dave2D” found that the battery life of iPhone 16e is 12 hours and 41 minutes, while the battery life of iPhone 16 is 12 hours and 43 minutes. Therefore, the battery life of iPhone 16e is not as good as that of iPhone 16. Considering that the battery capacity of iPhone 16e is much higher than that of iPhone 16, it is obviously difficult to be satisfactory to achieve such a battery life.

It is understood that iPhone 16e is equipped with Apple’s self-developed C1 cellular network modem, which has lower theoretical power consumption and can provide users with fast and stable 5G network connection, so that users can browse web pages, watch videos, and play games smoothly throughout the process without stucking. It seems that Apple’s first baseband chip does not bring more benefits in terms of power consumption.
