Alibaba’s revenue in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025 was 280.15 billion yuan
Alibaba released its December 2024 quarterly results. Revenue for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025 (quarter ending December 31, 2024) was RMB 280.15 billion, up 8% year-on-year, and estimated at RMB 277.37 billion; adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter was RMB 62.05 billion.

Net profit attributable to ordinary shareholders was RMB 48.945 billion (US$6.705 billion). Net profit was RMB 46.434 billion (US$6.361 billion), up 333% year-on-year.
Diluted earnings per American depositary share were RMB 20.39 (US$2.79) and diluted earnings per share were RMB 2.55 (US$0.35 or HK$2.75). Non-GAAP diluted earnings per American depositary share were RMB 21.39 (US$2.93), up 13% year-on-year.
For the quarter ended December 31, 2024, Cloud Intelligence Group revenue was RMB31.742 billion (US$4.349 billion), a year-on-year increase of 13%.
AI-related product revenue has achieved triple-digit year-on-year growth for six consecutive quarters. As of January 31, 2025, the number of derivative models developed on Hugging Face based on the Qwen model family has exceeded 90,000, making it one of the largest AI model families in the world.
For the quarter ended December 31, 2024, Local Life Group revenue increased by 12% year-on-year to RMB16.988 billion (US$2.327 billion), driven by overall order growth at AutoNavi and Ele.me, as well as revenue growth from marketing services.
