TikTok has been relisted on Apple and Google App Stores

According to CNBC, on the evening of February 13, local time, the short video social media platform TikTok has been relisted on Apple App Store and Google Play App Store.

Reuters reported that Trump said on February 13 that his 75-day grace period for the TikTok ban may be further extended, but he thought “maybe it is not necessary.” Trump said he still hopes to reach an agreement on TikTok so that it can continue to operate in the United States.

According to previous reports, US President Trump signed an executive order at the White House on January 20, giving TikTok a 75-day grace period for the “no sale or ban” law.

In April 2024, then-US President Biden signed a bill passed by both houses of Congress, requiring TikTok’s parent company ByteDance to sell TikTok to a non-Chinese company within 270 days, otherwise the app will be banned in the United States after January 19, 2025. TikTok briefly stopped its services in the United States from January 18 to 19.
