The U.S. Department of Justice’s “Capitol Hill Riots” database has been removed
According to CNN on the 26th, the database recording the details of the “Capitol Hill Riots” in the United States has been removed from the U.S. Department of Justice website.
The report said that the thousands of web pages contained in the database are now inaccessible. The FBI has also taken down the summary information of the wanted “Capitol Hill Riots” and removed the “U.S. Capitol Hill Violence” related web pages.
At present, the U.S. Attorney’s Office declined to comment on the matter.
U.S. President Trump signed an executive order on the 20th to pardon about 1,500 participants in the “Capitol Hill Riots” and reduce the sentences of 14 participants in the “Capitol Hill Riots”. This decision was criticized by the police who participated in quelling the “Capitol Hill Riots”, the police’s family members and members of Congress.
