MOFCOM released 47 institutional innovations in pilot free trade zones

It was learned from the Ministry of Commerce that the Ministry of Commerce of China recently released 47 institutional innovation results of free trade pilot zones, including the fifth batch of 23 “best practice cases” and the third batch of 24 pilot reform experiences of departments for reference and promotion in deepening reform and expanding opening up in relevant fields.

The 23 “best practice cases” focus on four areas, including trade facilitation, government function transformation, factor resource protection, and high-quality industrial development.

These include specific cases such as the new “one-stop” supervision model for cross-border e-commerce export returns, the “non-inductive renewal certificate” for enterprise licenses, integrated innovation in cross-border trade and investment facilitation, and the open innovation center plan for large enterprises.

At present, China has promoted 349 institutional innovations in pilot free trade zones.

These achievements have played an important exemplary and leading role in promoting high-level opening-up, improving the basic system of the market economy, and promoting high-quality development in all regions, and have helped form a good situation in which the dividends of reform in the pilot free trade zones are shared and the fruits of opening-up are shared by all.
