Central Asia-EU summit will be held in Uzbekistan in 2024

International Business News  –  The press secretary of the Uzbek President Sherzod Asadov has said that the Central Asia-EU summit will be held in Uzbekistan in 2024.

On June 2, 2023, the second EU-Central Asia Summit was held in Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan, with the participation of European Council Michel and leaders of Central Asian states.

“The participants of the Cholpon-Atta summit supported President Mirziyoyev’s initiative to hold the first comprehensive Central Asia-EU summit in Uzbekistan next year,” Asadov wrote on his Cable channel.

The first “5+1” model summit attended by the Presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and the European Council Michel was held in Astana on October 27, 2022.
