Japan Post resumes EMS and other services to China

International Business News  –  Japan Post announced on July 28 that it will resume the previously suspended International Express Mail (EMS) and shipping parcel collection services from July 29. Due to the new crown epidemic that led to the closure of Shanghai, China, and the reduction of air and shipping, Japan Post has stopped collecting receipts since April.

The person in charge of Japan Post said on the reason for the resumption of related business, “After coordinating with various airlines, sufficient capacity has been secured, and the local receiving system has been restored.” On the other hand, in the international mail sent to China, the collection of some goods such as air parcels will not be restarted for the time being.
